Pete - hmm, are you using FCPX version 10.0.3?

Fred - yes, right now you have to export a movie and insert that back into your timeline.

Hi Alex... well done this program, I work with Snow Leopard and in this case I can't test him directly. But I have one question... and after how can I reexport to FCPX ? it's possible or I have to export to quicktime? Thanks you very much for your work and answer.

GREAT! Finaly there's an app for that :-) But it does not work on a XML file I've just imported. An endless status bar appears. I will try it further.

Keep on good work.

Don't forget also that the adapters with optics - not only do you lose a stop of light, and increase the focal length, but the glass optic is the weak point of the optical path. If you are using one of the extremely rare Canon adapters, you are probably fine. But if you are using a $30 no-name adapter, you will notice a loss of sharpness in the image and probably other unwanted effects like comatic and chromatic aberrations.

I wrote about this on my blog and had pretty good results. Nonetheless, I think it would be best to buy the EF lens for your DSLR, and then you still keep autofocus and auto-aperture.

I think If you need it to be centered over the cut, you can drop down both audio tracks, and pull them other each other. Maybe not the best solution though.

That's not a crossfade. The whole transition is under one of the two clips. It's a crossfade when the center of the transition is on the frame cut.

Anyone know how to do a real crossfade without the dumb "new storyline" thing that messes up all your syncs and negates future audio transitions to clips not already in the "storyline"? This program seems to be designed by someone who never made a move before.
